True Love

When I say

I don’t want a friendship but a family,

I realize that the betrayal of brother kills,

When I say

Let’s go with the friendship,

I realize that the betrayal of a friend Is not new but hurts,

When I say

Let’s go into a relationship,

I realize that a trust and heart-broken,

Can never remain the same,

I need someone who will;

Manage me for who I am,

Love me for who I am,

And not for what I am,

I need TRUE LOVE,

That comes from a TRUE WOMAN,

That comes from they TRUE PEOPLE,

But can I find it?

  1. Yes, you can find it though I admit it is no easy task. I was so lucky to find my husband, so why shouldn’t others be as happy as I am? This a very beautiful poem. Love this:

“Love me for who I am,

And not for what I am,”

That is exactly my point too, but sometimes to find love is really hard. I am really appreciative of your checking out my blogposts and highly recommend you the blog of a friend of mine, Mario Savioni, without whom I would have never started my blog nor crossed paths with you. It would make me even happier that you checked out his blog than my own posts because he really is a great writer who also talks about the difficulty to find love. Here is the link, a chapter that stands on its own and can be read and fully comprehended without reading the previous ones: https://savioni.wordpress.com/2019/02/07/pickles-and-tarts-chapter-5/
